1. What project do you think taught you the most this semester?
When we watched the tv shows on the projector it showd me a lot about businesses.

2. How do you like blogging? Do you plan to continue with your blog eventhough I'm not going to be posting topics for you to blog about?
Who knows? I did kind of enjoy blogging. I like to look back on what I wrote sometimes.

3. What did you learn from the Coffee Geek Squad project? What changes do I need to make?
I don't think you need to make any changes. I like blogging.

4. Did the snacks that I brought influence you to do your work and behave appropriately (better work ethic = higher paycheck)?
I liked how we used our paychecks, but i think they should be a little higher.

5.Career/Future Visitors: Was it helpful for these individuals to visit and talk about your future goals? Would you rather just read about careers online?
I enjoyed the visitors coming in the class room. It helped me think more about being serious about life.

6. Any other comments? I think you should let us play games when we get done with our work because if we are done with our work it is SO BORING just sitting there on the computer...and we can't even go to any websites that we want to go to.

CHS Chorus Concert

I didn't go to the chorus concert last night but i heard it was good. I have only seen the chorus sing a few times. They are pretty good i think.

Christmas Songs

My Favorite Christmas Song would have to be "Santa Baby" by Marilyn Monroe. I like a lot of other christmas songs too.

Future Car

I don't think I will buy this new car because it will be too expensive most likely....and i just dont think it would really be practical.

Christmas Shopping

This year for Christmas I plan on getting my close friends gifts, and my family. I have already started saving up money for their gifts. I have already bought my mothers gift. I still have a lot more to buy for but atleast I have a few weeks until the time is up.

Thanksgiving Holidays

During the Thanksgiving break I just mostly hung out with my friends and family. We had a lot of food on thanksgiving. I was very thankful to be able to be with most of my family and friends on thanksgiving. I was also thankful for all the love, food, and shelter that I have in my life. I am happy and thankful that I have family and friends that love and care about me.

Tyra Survey Results

I think the results are very true. The only thing I didn't really think was accurate was the part about teens havin sex at school. I have only ever heard of 1 person doing that and i didnt think it would be 14% out of 10,000 teenagers. i dont think teen girls need to have a child at a young age because they still have their whole life to live and they have to keep it their whole life. they can't just give it away like a dog.

Confidentiality

Only one person knows my MySpace password and nobody knows my MSN HOTMAIL or PHOTOBUCKET. I don't like anybody knowing my passwords because if they get mad at you they could mess up your life and your personal information. i really need to change my myspace password. but i dont think you should give your password to anybody.

Free Write

Today is a free write and I don't really have anything to write about so I will just write about whT ai am going to do this weekend. This weekend on friday I am getting out of school early. Friday night I am going to get ready and then go to A cookout that my friend is having and then saturday i will probably sleep really late and then i dont really know what i am going to do saturday night and I know it will be fun. On Sunday I will probably sleep all day.

Trojans' Weekend Win

Future Business Owner

If I could open a business today, I would open a clothing store. It would be called VIZIT and it would have not only clothes but it would have jewelry too. Everybody would like it because it would be awesome

Grandmother gives birth to Daughters Triplets!

I think this is really neat because the daughter couldn't have any kids so she gave the eggs to her mother so really it means it is her actual child but somebody else had to have it. I wouldnt have done it but i think it is still neat.

Veteran's Day

Veteran's Day is a day to remember our soldiers who defended our country in the past wars such as WW1, WW2, and Vietnam.

This Past Weekend...

This past weekend was a relaxing weekend. Friday I got ready after resting, and went out to eat at DJ's in Broxton. After that I just rode around with a few of my friends. Saturday I hung out with Emily and Matt And Bryant. We all just watched movies Saturday night and slept til about 1 on Sunday. Then, I went to my step dads house and watched the football game, rode the golf cart, went fishing, and rode in the paddle Boat. It was fun. Thats really all i did this past weekend and I am ready for this coming up weekend already because I hate the school week.

When i am 50 years old hopefully i will be settled down with my husband and children. Hopefully I will be rich and not struggling with money. I am not looking forward to being 50.

Superstitions

I used to believe in superstitions, but i don't anymore. I used to send all the forwarded text messages to people, draw a cross on the windshield driving down the road if a black cat happened to run across, i never opened an umbrella inside, and never walked under a ladder. Of course these sound very stupid. Well, to me they do. I was young a didn't know any better. I think it's wrong to practice things like this. I think it is against God's beliefs.

Well, This is a free write so i am going to write about what I did this past weekend. Friday night me and Emily hung out with our friends Jesse and Jordan. Then before we went home we hung out with Bryant for a few minutes. Saturday night me, Emily, Donavan, Bryant, and Musgrove went to a Pirate Party. If i had a baby tomorrow...

If i had a baby girl tomorrow i would name her Aubrey Rayne. I love that name. my best friend emily is going to name her daughter Rayne Aubrey. Our kids are going to be best friends when they grow up! :)

Last Nights Debate

I didn't watch the debate last night. I have watched the other 2 but last night i didnt know there was one because my mama didn't tell me about it and thats how i usually find out to watch it. So instead i hung out with a bunch of my friends and i didnt get home until about 10:30. My mama was out of town so i just went home and went to bed.

Act of Kindness

I like random acts of kindness. It reminds you that there are actually some nice people still left in the world. I have had quite a few random acts of kindness. For example, I got 2 dozen roses delivered to my house the other day out of nowhere! This same thing also happened a few months ago, other than it was only a dozen roses the last time. I love getting flowers from guys it makes me feel wanted haha which is a very good feeling!!!!!

5 day weekend!

I had a 5 day weekend instead of a 4 day weekend because i did not go to school on tuesday. today is wednesday and i am making up yesterdays blog. well thursday my mamas boyfriend cooked supper for me and my friends emily and ashley. We stayed the night at his house with my mama. friday i didnt do much of anything i just chilled all day and then friday night i hung out with kramer vickers and matt carter and emily. Saturday i hung out with samantha emily justin donnie and ashley. sunday me and emily hung out bryant adams and matt hayes. Monday we hung out with them again and then i thought i was going to have to go to school on tuesday but i didnt. tuesday i just sat at home and hung out with emily because she didn't go to school either. i saw matt for a little while. everybody thinks we like eachother and think we are dating but we are just friends i think its funny that people think that but anyways i dont feel like typing anymore. sooooo BYE!

Presidential Debate

I watched a little bit of the presidential debate last night. I didn't have time to watch all of it but from what i watched i liked Obama better and i think he did a much better job than McCain did. I think Obama presents himself better but sarah Palin presented McCain better than Joe Biden did Obama during the debate last week.

Goals for last 9 weeks

The goals for last 9 weeks was to pass all my classes, visit my brother in las vegas, drive to see my daddy in atl, go to athens to see my cousin, and get a job. I havent reached any of these goals which is kind of dissappointing. I have applied for a lot of jobs but i haven't got hired anywhere yet. I am supposed to be going to las vegas, athens, and atlanta sometime soon. we are still planning it. I passed all of my classes except algebra and i have a very hard time in algebra. i havent really ever been good at math and i dont really know why but i plan to try to pass this next 9 weeks because i really dont want to have to take the class over again because i will get in a lot of trouble and my mama will be really mad at me and i wi;l have to take the class for credit recovery. i just dont want to have to do that.

Candy Corn in Hershey's Kisses

I have never seen the candy corn hershey's kisses before. I think it is pretty neat but i don't like candy corn so i probably won't eat it. I will try it because i always try everything atleast once, but i doubt that i will like it. I never really eat any candy.

The weekend

This weekend i didn't really do much of anything. I hung out with my best friend emily on friday and ashley trammel,blaze, and maegan. we rode around and went to my house. saturday me emily and ashley ellis hung out until sunday afternoon. after they left i did some of my school work and cleaned my house, talked on the phone, and went to sleep.

Sleep

I never go to bed early. I am usually going to sleep around 12 or 1. I dont like going to sleep early because i am more sleepy the next morning and throughout the day. If i go to sleep at around 3 or 4 am im not even sleepy the next morning but at the end of the day i am about to fall asleep.

Army Reps

I liked listening to the army people. I am thinking about joining the military but i doubt i ever will.

Legal Drinking Age

I think the legal drinking age should be changed to 18 because people drink under the age of 21 anyways and it would be a lot better to go ahead and just make it legal so everyone won't be going to jail when everybody else does it anyways and are going to keep doing it.

To me this quote means that if you are doing the right thing that you are supposed to be doing and you dont try hard enough to maintain the track you are on you will eventually fail at whatever you are trying to do.

Last weeks college and career speaker

I liked the speaker. I enjoyed the presentation. I don't think his speaking will aid me in my career choices. I didnt dislike anything about the presentation. I think Ms. Gay should continue to have speakers in our class.

Meghan McCain's blog

Meghan is already being followed by secret agents even though her father has not been selected for president. I would not like being followed If i was her. Her every move is being monitored by people she doesn't even know and probably posted up on the internet for everyone to see. I would hate it. I need my privacy and i can't stand people being in my business. But it would be kinda cool to be followed by people i don't know.

Dog makes 911 call

It's amazing how some dags can be trained that well to make a 911 call. I never would have thought that a dog could save a persons life. I bet it costs a lot to train a dog like that. I wish i could have a dog that would know what to do if i got hurt. German Shepherds are very smart dogs.

Homecoming Week

Homecoming week was fun. I liked how we had a dress up day every day. I didn't go to homecoming because i broke up with my lame boyfriend and i went to the football game and to all the parties. It was fun...

I agree with this because if you have lost and loved then atleast you have got to feel what its like to love instead of wonder what it feels like. When you love again you will be prepared and know what to expect if you get hurt again instead of being totally lost.

Abandon newborn baby

Thats just crazy, to leave a newborn baby abandon in a toilet. I think the woman had the baby there and didn't want to have to take care of the baby so she just left her there. Thats a pretty stupid decision if you ask me because all they have to do is take the baby's DNA and they will find the mother whereabouts and she will probably get in some trouble. I don't see how anybody could ever do that. It was a suprise to me that the baby was in good health and wasn't sick or hurt.

Britney Spears and the VMA's

I did not watch the VMA's. In some ways i agree with Britney being a bad role modle but in some ways i don't. i think she has reasons for why she has been acting crazy and doing the bad thungs that she does. she is trying to do a lot better. i think the only reason why she started acting crazy is because the world wouldnt leave her alone and she just wanted her privacy and she just wanted to do her own thing. kevin was just a gold digger and he didnt really love her. he just wanted her money and she thought she really found someone that loved her. but she was young and didnt know better and made a mistake which made her go in the wrong direction. she is trying to get her life back on track now and i think everyone should support her.

Sick Days

I think that is is dumb to not have substitutes at school anymore because there were a lot of subs that i liked and it gets old seeing the same teacher every single day because they start getting on my nerves after a little while. maybe if the school wouldnt spend money on stupid things like id's that we don't even need, then we could afford to have substitutes.

John Mccain chose Sarah Palin as his running mate for the presidential election. I think people that were going to vote for Hillary might be drawn to Sarah Palin because she is a female and everyone wants a change.

Teen Pregnancy

Teen Pregnancy has been rising over the past few years. It seems like every week there is someone else pregnant at school or around Douglas. Most of the time I think it is accidental. People can be very stupid sometime and make the wrong decisions. At the same time, accidents can happen. I don't think its a good decision to have a baby when you are a teenager because most of the time you still have to go to school and you wouldnt have time to do that, have a job, and have a baby. It just wouldn't be a good idea to get pregnant at this age. You should wait until you are financially able.

Learning So Far...

So far in this class one new thing i have learned is how to make a bad power point. Now i know what all the wrong things are to do on a power point. Some of the things i didn't think were bad, but they really are. Now i know all the right things to do on a power point so that i can make a good presentation.

2 Day week!

It has been great to have 2 days of school off. Well, acutally 3 for me since i didn't go to school on Friday. I stayed at home with a lot of my friends and watched movies most of the day. Or i went to other friend's houses. The weather was too bad to be around and about.

Tropical Storm Fay

I did not go to school on the day that the storm was the worst. I stayed at home. I was not really concerned about the weather because we had the after math of the storm. It just rained almost all day for 3 days and the wind blew a lot. I didn't have any relatives in Florida that were affected by the storm.

Yesterday's Assembly

I did not like the assembly yesterday. The only thing i liked about the assembly yesterday was that we got to get out of class. I think they did alright with the skits. The only people that could sing good was the girl inthe yellow shirt and the guy that was playing the guitar. He started singing at the end and i thought that it was prettty good. I just wish that we would have more assemblys like that.

Last 2 Days

The last two days in this class have seemed normal. It might have gotten a little out of hand a few times with talking, but thats bound to happen. I think we acted well with our substitute. She didn't have to get onto us too many times. Everyone minded their own business and most people did their work. Not all did their work. The ones who did their work did it at the beginning of class and then talked the rest of the time.

Cheating

Cheating is wrong. If you were to get caught cheating on a test, it will most likely affect your teachers opinion of you. You should have studied for the test anyways. You should always be prepared for class and study a few days and the night before so you will make a good grade on the test. You could ruin your reputation by cheating.

Olympics 2008

I have not been watching the Olympics this year yet but I do know that they are being held in China. This makes me worried about visitors from the United States visiting China to watch the Olympics. Ever since someone got killed by a chinese man in China, everyone has been worried about us visiting the foreign country. Chinese people are very different from the American people, and so is their type of government. Therefore, both of our countries have many dissagreements. This could cause something huge with our country, such as a war. That is something that our country does not need right now because we are already in one and as of now.

Goals
